VBS 2021 was a success!

The week of June 30th 90 children gathered together, along with 60 adult and teen volunteers, to grow in their faith.  We had an awesome week of Vacation Bible School and learned how Jesus’ power can pull us through the ups and downs of life.  The children participated in worship, games, Bible study and hands on experiments.  For our VBS service project, the children helped collect over $400 for the Ohio Bird Sanctuary and we were able to sponsor their great horned owl.

We need to give praise and thanks to all the volunteers and staff who supported VBS.

Thank you for the beautiful decor created by St. Peter staff: Noelle Heinze, Bill Salmons and Pablo. They poured their heart and time into creating a beautiful and exciting Rocky Railway environment. Thank you to Jen Waters for helping to coordinate supplies and being on stage everyday, getting the kids excited about Jesus; pouring her heart into it.

We would also like to thank our pastor Fr. Chris Tuttle for his constant support. And for guiding our Parish with love and faithfulness.

A BIG THANK YOU TO ALL the volunteers - from behind the scenes - to creating name tags, to putting things together ahead of time, assisting with registration, executing healthy snacks, leading games and worship, taking photos, creating beautiful Bible Buddy artwork, leading the crews of children, sharing the Word of God with joy, and leading worship - so many moving parts, but the Body of Christ working together.

Lastly, thank you to the families and children who participated.  It was a joy being together again.
