FROM THE PASTOR’S DESK/DESDE EL ESCRITORIO DEL PÁRROCO

I speak on behalf of all the priests at Saint Peter and Saint Joan when I say Thank You! We appreciate the warm welcome we have received so far. The three Theatine priests, Father David Arroyo, Father Víctor Méndez, and Father Salvador Cisneros, are gradually making the rectory at Saint Peter their home. Father Elias Udeh and I are getting settled in at the rectory at Saint Joan. All five of us are happy to serve these two parishes as a team. I have been going back and forth between Saint Peter and Saint Joan frequently. It has been a joy to meet new people and to discover the beauty of these two churches. Being present at both parishes is helping me understand the needs in the community, as well as the resources available to us. I am grateful for your patience with me and the other priests during this period of transition. Please pray for us, and know that we are praying for you every day! Persevere!

Hablando en nombre de todos los sacerdotes de las Iglesias San Pedro y Santa Juana, les digo ¡Gracias! Agradecemos la bienvenida que hemos recibido hasta ahora. Los tres sacerdotes Teatinos, el padre David Arroyo, el padre Víctor Méndez y el padre Salvador Cisneros, poco a poco van haciendo de la rectoría de San Pedro su hogar. El padre Elias Udeh y yo nos estamos instalando en la rectoría de Santa Juana. Los cinco estamos felices de servir a estas dos parroquias como un equipo. He estado yendo y viniendo entre San Pedro y Santa Juana con frecuencia. Ha sido un placer conocer gente nueva y descubrir la belleza de estas dos iglesias. Estar presente en ambas parroquias me está ayudando a comprender las necesidades de la comunidad, así como los recursos disponibles para el ministerio. Estoy agradecido por su paciencia conmigo y con los demás sacerdotes durante este período de transición. ¡Pidan por nosotros y sepan que estamos pidiendo por usted todos los días! ¡Siempre adelante!
